Zet@Micro Zet@Micro Compact Eddy current instrument for flaws detection and material sorting Zet@Micro is a stand-alone device with latest digital electronic technology for automatic high resolution, one or two channels, on line or off line. It is deduced for flaws detection made of austenitic, ferrous and non-ferrous steel metal and material sorting. It provides all necessary functions for most standard applications and can be adapted to all customers’ configurations.



Salient Features:

  • Blind device or remote instrument with its USB 2.0 port, it allows a connection to a PC (portable or industrial) for display signals allowing reducing cost of the EC instrument.
  • Connection to a USB Box to drive several equipments with only one notebook
  • Thanks to its optional second channel its allows to inspect two lines simultaneously in differential, or longitudinal defects with absolute second one.

Zet@Master Zet@MasterThe most powerful Eddy current instrument for flaws detection Zet@Master is a powerful stand-alone equipment of CMS Zet@ range in eddy current testing method. Multi channel and multi frequency, it allows the connection of several EC systems with only one unit to work in all configurations, on line or off line. It is able to drive several lines simultaneously.


Deduced for flaws detection on tubes (welded or not), wires, bars, strip and automotive parts, made of austenitic, ferrous and non-ferrous steel metal. Can be use also for heat treatment verification and many other requirements. His flexible configuration and thecontrol of all peripheral devices, matched all the varieties of production lines, at high production speeds. Hot Rod inspection


Hot Rod inspection Working with Eddy current equipment Zet@ range, the friendly and easy to use production software developed by CMS, allows to obtain accurate information’s of defects detection. Hot Rod inspection software integrates a special analysis tool to detect periodical defect and reduce quality looses due to damaged rollers.

Because hot rolled material production is high-speed production, a damaged roller can cause large quantities of defective material. Zet@ hot rod inspection software can find periodical defects to quickly identify a damaged roller and stop the production line.

The RecordViewer software allow opening, analyzing, modifying and saving of records files created form the Zeta setting software or the Production software. Acquired signals can be modified, in gain, phase and filter, in particular, in order to find an optimal setting with hindsight for example. It can be reread with different speeds, zoomed, measured…

Managed by an eddy current equipment (Zet@Master and/or Zet@Premium), and connected to special probes, CMS internal rotating system (4 or 8 channels) allows to inspect internal and external defects in different applications like:

  • Large range of monobloc and opening magnetizing units, for ferromagnetic tubes; bars, wires, and pipes inspection for products from 1 up to 230 mm diameter.
  • Inserts, guide sleeves and adaptators allow to adapt the size of the magnetizing unit to the product range.Each magnetizing unit (monobloc or opening) can be associated with encircling coils and opening encircling coils for short and transverse defects detection.
  • Coupling with a great range of accessories like encoder, marking systems, etc… for a complete inspection of the product.

  • Sectorial magnetizing unit is deduced for small defects detection in tubes and bars weld area such as holes or cracks, open or disrupted weld.
  • It can be inspect products from 5 up to 300mm diameter.
  • It allows to detect long defects essentially for rolled welded tubes, and inspect multiple lines simultaneously using one eddy current equipment (up to 4 lines).


Another kind of application can be for rails inspection to inspect the head and the base of the rail.



Support coils

Allows to detect short and transverse defects detection on copper, aluminium, with a large range for products 0,10 up to 230 mm diameter.Guide sleeves, photocells and plastic inserts are mounted in the support.
Allows to sort product like antimix with a range of product from 2 up to 280 mm
